soulism is a collective, consisting of several DJs and musicians, with a vast wealth of experience, individually acquired through musical introduction from early ages, from their parents, family and friends.

This was enhanced and embraced, by playing in various clubs and bars in Leicester, and up and down the country, expanding their knowledge through the airwaves via pirate, community and internet based radio stations.

This collective formed through a common bond, namely the love of music, and a desire to run their own party, where this love can be shared.

The soulism ethos is based on quality music from the past, the present and the future, inspired by a soulful inheritance crossing many genres,

be it jazz, funk, soul, rare-groove, disco,

       boogie and house, with a few surprises

thrown in for good measure.
